With all the rain the Rosemont area
has been getting this spring and now summer. People need something else to do
then bail water and watch Tom Skilling weather reports. That's where Fashion
Outlets of Chicago come into play. If you didn't know Rosemont has been
building a 530,000 sq. ft. monster outlet mall off of I-294, I-90 I-190 (great
location) for the past year and half. It should have other large outlet malls
shaken in their designer boots. See, Rosemont is located just miles away from
O'Hare and only 15 miles from Chicago. Rosemont gets about 18 million visitors
a year!! This is a town that has more hotel rooms than houses. With that the
Rosemont hotels can take care of tour and travel business that do not want to
pay the Chicago prices along with the Chicago taxes. Don't get me wrong Chicago
is a great city but when you can get there in 20 minutes and stay in Rosemont
and get great hotel pricing how could you not? Not to mention The Park at Rosemont which screams nightlife. With
establishments like Toby
Keith's, Adobe, Park Tavern, Zanies, Hofbrauhaus
and Kings.
The great thing about the shopping, night life and lodging is that they are all
located right by each other. My hotel the Holiday Inn
and Suites has free bus/car parking, great location, Harry Caray's Steakhouse, free Wi-Fi and the best
and most unique double suites to fit your groups or family in! If I was a tour
director and was looking to save but also get your customers the downtown experience
I would have to consider staying in Rosemont or especially the Holiday Inn and
Suites (cheap plug). How could you not?
